Dealing with the loss of a loved one is never easy. It can be bewildering in those early days knowing there is so much to do and organise. All this needs to be considered whilst coming to terms with your loss and grieving.

It is so important for families to feel comfort in the knowledge that those they are dealing with during the planning of the funeral have their best interests at heart, are willing to listen and are striving to be the best they can be in order to provide the best service they can.

As a celebrant, I believe listening is one of the most important things I can do for you! Your loved ones funeral should be a celebration of their life, their achievements, their loves, their character, their personality, their sense of humour... the script and eulogy will be written by me and reflect your wishes, with the final script being agreed by you.

We will meet up and take the time to talk about your loved one, discuss music choices, look at any readings or poems that may be appropriate, think about any specific requirements you may have, and talk about the plans for the day of the funeral. I will then begin work on writing the script and eulogy. There will be no limit to the amount of communication required to ensure that the final service is everything you wish it to be.

Having previously worked within the funeral industry, I have background knowledge and experience of working with bereaved families and having lost both of my parents at a reasonably young age, have certainly dealt with grief from both perspectives.

If you would like to book me direct please get in touch and I can then contact your chosen Funeral Director to move forward with the necessary arrangements.
